Eos Display Bug?

G'day

Not sure if this has been raised already, but I find quite often if I go into blind display and press format twice to get the spreadsheet view (ch's in columns, cues in rows) none of the channels appear.  If I press flexi then channels will appear.  I am usually in "show chans" or "patched chans" view, so I would have thought that the chans would be displayed when in the table view.

Also, if I have 2 live views going (one on external monitor in tombstone view, one above CIA in packed table view), I find that when I change the selected channel in the "packed table" display, the parameters do not  display correctly.  For example, I'll have an Atomic Strobe selected and will have all four parameters on screen.  If I then select a studio spot, the parameter columns from the atomic remain on screen.  To have the correct params display, I either need to press "live" twice, or "format" twice to refresh the display.

I'm assuming both these are bugs?

Oh  - one other thing: I've had my level wheel stop working occasionally.  Originally I thought it may have been caused from locking out the encoders by using the [clr] + [encoder page] command, but I had the problem occur last night and did not use that feature last night.  Anyone have any thought as to what might be causing this?

Cheers

  • The first couple things on your list are bugs.  We will have our testers reproduce those and put them into our database to get fixed.  Thanks.

Your last item I have not seen.  The only things I can think of that might be causing the problem include having focus on the browser or the format key is suck down.  Both of those things would stick the level wheel into a non-level changing mode.  Let us know if you can reproduce it and if it is something different than what I have stated as a possible cause.
