preventive maintenance

I'm wondering if anyone opening up thier ION and blows out the dust in the internal part of the console?

Any idea of how you would open it up to do that sort of thing. i'm also wondering about the power supply and how that might be removed for cleaning.

Whilst it is technically possible to open up and Ion to clean it out by removing a few screws, you're probably better off getting ETC to give it a service unless you're comfortable with doing these sorts of things yourself.
