When is the next version of the Eos family software release.

2.2 is currently in beta and is coming along nicely. Your customer could use the beta if they feel happy with that or depending on exactly when the tour starts 2.2 may be released in time.

Whilst there are slightly more time constraints than usual on 2.2, it's usually more of a case of waiting until it is feature complete and stable.

I also know that current beta software has same issue. 
This issue is relative to “Subgroup” or "Effect".

For example, record any absolute effect by using subgroup to the cue, and then re-enter the effect with different subgroup to update this cue.
This result were completely nothing to change!

If you want to modify the running effect in the cue, we have to delete the cue or stop effect to update before using other subgroup.

I have a lot of big arguments between Vector vs Gio.

Vector is a very hold console, I work every year with the red, the tracking operations are really easier in Eos than Vector !

Vector haven't got option for make absolute for fixtures values (to make clean palettes from existing other palettes) Vector haven't got filter option, filter is only inside the palette in table mode.

The udate mode is very basic.

touch Screens are very small, Eos magic sheet are very powerful, everything is simple on Eos...

no part cue in Vector, no selective update in vector, update for range of cues make block values in vector, no Flags information on Vector, for Block for example ! Times is only for everything, you must use discrete times...

I really understand your request about Effects, Maybe you can done a demo with the beta version if the current beta is ready for your effect request.

I think this has been fixed in the latest internal builds as subgroups were being ignored in effects. When the next build comes out check and see if that resolves your issue.
