ION strange channels up

Running two universes hard line dmx. One universe is conventionals and some led's. The other one is led's. Also running two networked nodes; both led's, haze and fog devices.

My console has been in a church awaiting a production this weekend. Tuesday their sound person called me and told me their Dove (symbol on the back wall with two mini-ellipsoidals on it) would fade on for a few seconds then off while my console was powered off. It happened at random intervals about 4 or 5 times in a couple of hours.

I told him to unplug the two DMX lines to see if it goes away. (I had forgotten about the nodes at that point so didn't tell him to unplug the network line also). When I saw him later that afternoon for our rehearsal he could not tell me if the problem stopped because he was not in the sanctuary after he unplugged the lines. So I plugged them back in, opened the special event file and we did our rehearsal. During that time I never saw the Dove lights come on. I saved the show file, opened their church file to prepare them for their Wednesday night service and shut down and went home.

Last night, Thursday I powered and booted everything back up to make final adjustments for tonight's opening performance, opening the special show file as well and I noticed several random channels were showing random intensities in pale yellow but nothing was visible live on stage. I also noticed all those channels were showing blue intensities on the Magic Sheet.

I could enter the channel numbers and put them at 0 in red however really for no good reason since there was nothing running. All the subs were down and no cues were showing running. I brought up individually each and every sub and none had that combination of channels on them. I also know for a fact none of the cues have only those channels in them.

I did see their 5 Ice fixtures on live as a very light blue color on stage.

I exited the console and did a deep clean and reopened the show file. All the channels were then clear and nothing showing on the stage. I then brought up my first cue and only some of the led's came on. No conventionals came on. At that time I checked the back of the console and found the two dmx lines were unplugged. I was unable to get a hold of the sound person but assumed he must have unplugged them again because the Dove must have been coming on again. That was the reason none of the conventionals and many of the led's weren't working in my cue. Once I plugged them back in all was good.

The problem was, since the dmx lines were unplugged at first I don't know if the random channels were actually showing live or not. My guess is they were but not visible because the dmx lines were unplugged. I am guessing that because I did see those Ice led's on when they weren't supposed to be on.

So don't know what caused this and obviously can't reproduce it other than what might be showing in the logs.
