Next / Last Buttons skipping

The NEXT and LAST buttons on my ION are skipping?

Example:

I select a light then press NEXT. Sometimes it goes to the next light and sometimes is quickly goes more that 1 next. Its annoying when programming moving lights.

I don't know if its a software thing or the physical button.

Skipping quickly sounds like a hardware thing, but you need to be aware that next last follows the flexi mode of the tab with the gold border. So if you have more than one life tab and they have different flexi states, make sure that you're looking at the active one when using next last. Regarding the button hardware: there is a button test in the shell > settings > maintenance

What flexi state are you in?

If your in flexi active and the Fixture is not active it will skip it.

Not sure I completely understand. If I select a channel, then do nothing more than press next it sometimes next's more than 1 time. Example, if I have 6 moving lights CH.1 threw 6. I press 1 enter, then press next, sometimes it skips quickly threw 2 and goes to 3. I will try the test in the shell.

so you select channel 1. when you press next and the skipping happens, do you see channel 2 for a very short time being selected?

the channel that is being skipped, was it visible on screen before you pressed next?

in the top right corner of your Live display, does it say Selected Channels, Active Channels, or something else, or nothing at all?

yes I see the channel that it skips over. for example channel 2 will quickly come up but skip right over it.
