Magic sheet gobo image muddles

I started putting together a magic sheet on our gio, then continued working on it in the offline editor. Now that I've merged it into the show on the desk, the gobo images I loaded for the relevant beam pallettes are all muddled up. The buttons still target the right pallettes,  but the images are being used on the wrong buttons. What causes this, and how can I avoid/fix it? Also, is it possible to change the source image for a magic sheet image without just deleting the object and starting again?

  • Hi Chris,

We haven't seen this before. Do you have before and after showfiles that you could post and/or send in? If you would like to email them, send it to eos <at> etcconnect <dot> com and include a link to this forum post. We'll take a look.

To answer your second question - it isn't currently possible to change the image without deleting and re-inserting. If you include in your message what got changed around, we might have an option to fix it internally.

    Thanks!

    Hans

  • Quick update: I learned that you can actually replace the images in the magic sheet by right clicking on the image in the image list and selecting Browse. Keep in mind that it won't refresh until you close and re-open the magic sheet. The refresh issue is a known bug and on our list to address. We'd still be glad to look at the before and after shows though!

    Thanks!
