How do I exit to the Shell in EOS Offline software

In Windows, it's the first window that launches when you start the off-line editor.  

It says ETC Eos Family Shell.  Press Settings instead of Eos Family Off-Line.

Hmm. When I launch the program it boots straight into the editor, I don't get an option for anything else. Not even the usual countdown that happens on the console giving me time to cancel and boot to the shell. (Though there is a loading screen shown, I don't see any option listed to cancel it)

I am using windows and I'm on Version 2.1, Patch 2.0 Build 7 of the offline Editor.

try starting the program labeled "Eos family welcome screen" instead of the EOS.exe app.  That is the correct one to start in.

I don't seem to have an "Eos Family Welcome Screen" program, and F6 twice exits to the desktop. Sorry to be difficult :) I don't have an issue getting into the shell on my actual console, and really, getting in on my office computer is just gravy, so if it's broken until another software update, I can live with that.

Perhaps you installed the console software instead of the offline software? That might explain why you don't seem to have access to the shell.
