I realise there are a couple of ways to achieve the effect I'm after but I wondered if this would be a possibility. I doubt it hasn't been asked for before to be honest, but here goes.
When copying a cue from one place to another, possibly overwriting a cue that is already made, you could use a syntax like [Cue 1] [Copy To] [Cue 3] [Enter] [Enter]. The problem is that you loose the time information, Which is understandable, you're not being very specific about what needs copying, so it copies everything etc.
But:
Could a syntax like [Cue 1] [Copy To] [Cue 3] [-] [Time] [Enter] [Enter] work?
or carrying along those lines
[Cue 1] [Copy To] [Cue 3] [-] [Time] [-] [Label] - [Something Else] [Enter] [Enter]
...
Thinking about it, maybe for more gramatical syntax sense it should be?
[Cue 1] [-] [Time] [Copy To] [Cue 3] [Enter] [Enter].
