It seems that v2.1.2 will not allow a console or RPU to enable output to a single address in a range of addresses. It used to be possible to enable a single address from the shell by listing that address as both the start and end range and adding it to the allowed output addresses. This operation in 2.1.2 is disallowed (by way of the Add button being inactive until a range of more than 1 address is entered). You can subvert the adding process by modifying an added range to include only one address, however that information is discarded when the settings are accepted.
Enabling a single output address was useful for managing a multi-complex, multi-console environment where a single output exception to sACN segregation might be necessary (e.g. a console that must be able to control a specific address outside the normal sACN range for that studio because it is seen through a window into another studio)
Has any one else run into this? Is there a reason it is set up this way now? Is there a way to enable a single output address?
