One of the things I really like about the Ion is the remote trigger port. I bought a DA15 box and I'd wire it into the practical light switch, and then the actor would hit it, and that would trigger a macro or a submaster. Obviously it is much more accurate doing this way, than taking a verbal go over a radio from someone who is watching the action from 10 feet away.
Any ideas on how to replicate this with the Nomad? The only thing I can think of is to get a USB keyboard and run wire from the space bar to the practical switch, then before the actor hits the switch, load the cue. I don't know if this would work and it seems like there would be a better solution.
