I'm trying to merge in a partial patch sequence into an existing show. I'd like to bring in the patch from Channels 1-400 from another show without disturbing any patch information above Channel 401.
It's not clear in the manual (p. 78, Partial Patch Merging) how exactly to use the Advanced Merge Option to import. The manual says to specify the first and last "in a range of components," and this is not clear whether one is to enter Channel numbers or Address numbers. I would presume "Target" would be the start number of the imported information and again wonder if this is supposed to be channel numbers or address numbers.
Anyway, I've tried to perform this task in a number of ways and have not succeeded in importing a partial patch in any way. I found older posts (from 2010) saying this function was soon to be implemented or improved. Would appreciate any help.
