I just recently got a used Chavet Geyser RGB, with a remote so I could trigger the effect on cue without a DMX controller... but it doesn't behave like it's supposed to. I know that in its past life it had been used with a DMX controller, and I think that might be interfering with my trying to run it in standalone mode. Do anyone know anyything about DMX vs standlone conflicts that would cause lingering issues? Any thoughts would be appreciated.
