So I know I should be happy with the new frames display options in 2.2 and I am! But of course it makes me want more.

I'm sure this breaks some console logic, but I'll toss it out there. It would be awesome if it were some how possible to set a frame to follow a User ID. The magic sheet Command line object solved some of the hold backs from splitting the lighting designers (or assistants) RVI off from the main programmers user ID, but it doesn't quite fit the bill. With the designers I work with, the most frequent reason we keep their RVI on the programmers User ID is so the channel screen follows the programmers command line when they give a "Channel x at...", and also when we bounce into blind to go back a few q's to look up a previous value, or anything of the type, the designers screen follows along.

Magic sheets have changed a lot of operation, especially with moving lights / layouts etc... but there are times where a good old tombstone display still gets the job done, especially on a 500 channel show when you don't necessarily want to make a magic sheet for every set practical etc...

Right now I solve the problem with macros' that switch the designers RVI between the programmers UID and his own, but then the designer has to remember which UID they are before they try to go do something on the RVI, so it doesn't always work out.

Thanks for humoring me.
