can't use more than 2 keys at once for hotkeys on nomad

Hey Folks,

here is my problem: I'm using eos-nomad with a nice Tipro keyboard (fully programmable). All shortcuts like GO, RECORD....are working pretty fine. Now i'm trying to use for example TIMING DISABLE with SHIFT+CTRL+G. This will only post GO TO CUE to my command line. So it seems, that it looses the CTRL. This also happens when i use the laptops keyboard or a combination of both.

Thanks for ideas/suggestions

  • Three keys simultaneously work just fine, provided it's a combination that exists. The hotkey for Eos-Shift is Z. Z-Ctrl-G should do what you're after.
  • Thanks again for the quick answer Ueli. OOPs... your'e absolutly right! using Z helps. Shame on me!!!! I was just assuming that shift would be shift. This led me some other issues though . All keyboard settings (OS, Nomad, keyboard) have to be set to the same language layout to use Z (german Y/Z issue-thing). Finally i've got my my keyboard finished and set up. There is some work arounds like Highlight: i couldn't teach my keyboard the BACKSLASH so what the keystroke does now is "SCROLL LOCK / wait 100ms / H I G H L I G H T / Enter / wait 100ms / SCROLL LOCK". Works fine and makes me happy. And Thanks again Uelli.
