Fader Snapshots

Hey All!

I have been trying to use snapshots to change pages on my fader wings. In theory it seems pretty simple but I have noticed that whenever I use them it seems to hit "go" on whatever cue lists are in the range that I brought up even though the snapshot was recorded with them It also releases any values that are in the faders when changing as well. Is this correct behavior? It would be nice to use snapshots live...

i think what you are seeing is expected behaviour: the fader category will capture not only current page but also current fader configuration, position of all submasters and playbacks, any fader attributes, and pending cues. so to "only" change fader pages it's not the right tool. is there a problem with using the regular commands to change the fader pages?

I can understand why a submaster would keep its value but if a Cue list is not active it seems like a bug that it would go on these no? I have had trouble making a macro that can change fader pages, would you be able to suggest one?

what console? and do you want a macro to go to a specific fader page or increase and decrease the fader page number?

with an external keyboard, you can keep ] pressed, followed by the number of the fader page.

I've just checked on a Ion (on 2.2) and learning the macro is working for me. [Learn] [1] [Enter] [FaderControls] & [Fader Bump Buttons (to select page)] [Learn]. Makes a macro which says 'FaderWing_Page 2' I can fire this macro manually or via a cue and it works both times.
