How do we add the contents of a sub to an already existing cue? there is no make manual when selecting a sub . if we have to pick all channels in the sub manually then make manual we might just as well just select them and bring them to whatever level we want. I'm sure I'm missing something in the user guide.

quick and dirty: Record over the existing cue

no so quick but much cleaner: move up the sub, type [Group] [Sub] x {MakeManual} [Enter], [Update] [Cue] y [Enter]

If the cue is live, add the sub and do a Record, Enter, Enter.

Ok thanks. sounds like there is no such thing as update cue when adding a sub unless that last reply trick works to make the sub manual. So when doing the record, does that sub track or just go into that cue? If it tracks then I would think record only won't work because there's nothing manual. so ??????

Tried the "cleaner way" and walla, that's what I was looking for. So now just to remember it I sure wish they would put the manual in the consoles soon like the Congo so we can make side notes.

just to make sure: using RecordOnly vs. Record has nothing to do with Tracking or No Tracking. in this respect they work the same: they use the consoles Tracking or CueOnly mode and can be modified by the QOnly/Tracking button. the difference is that RecordOnly only affects manual values (i.e. red ones) whereas Record takes all of them (of course as long as you don't specify any, but that's another story).
