Hello,

Having recently started using the 'fan' function, I'd like to make a suggestion! (Assuming of course, I'm currently doing it correctly!)

The Problem:
I select two moving lights, invoke 'fan' to pan them away from centre. I then want to tilt them both up, but they tilt in opposite directions. Therefore I have to do my fanning pan operation, press [clear], then reselect the fixures to tilt.

Suggestion:
After 'fan' has been invoked on a particular encoder/parameter, if a different encoder/parameter is then adjusted, could fan automatically disengage?

Thanks,

Ian

Fan is a Toggle state - so you are Fanning everything about the lights with the command line "Channel [Fan] Enter"

If you hit the {Pan} Filter key after hitting [Fan] you'll just be fanning the Pan and it will work as you expect.

Pan Fan Center* and Tilt Fan MirriorOut* make for nice macros

Also just hitting Select Last gives you the channel selection back without fan.

Thanks chaps- Patrick, I'll give what you suggest a go and see if it works for me. Nick, I'm well aware of Select Last, but using it in this situation feels very much like a work-around!
