Eos family 2.2 Backup Consoles slow to recognize Master

Three theaters, two Eos, one Ion. All three setup with the RPU set as master/primary and left on 24/7.

The consoles are set as Backup and turned on when needed.

Since the upgrade to v2.2 all three have trouble connecting to Master/Primary.

At first we tried multiple times to connect, now we have noticed that if we just wait several minutes it will eventually connect.

Before the upgrade the connection time was a couple of seconds. 

Has any one else had this problem?  Know a solution?

    Having similar problems, 2 classic EOS, Classic RVI and up to 2 client PC (XP & Vista). We have a Cisco SWR 224 gigabit and two Pro-plex GBS gigabit switches on the network. All are slow to see the master console, but I discovered today that the RVI will just sit in the advisory screen, even when it has located the master console. When I went to the troubleshooting screen, the master was there and after I clicked on change master, it connected pretty quickly. We started seeing the difficulty connecting after the 2.0 upgrade, but it has gotten worse since the 2.2 install. Another problem that may or may not be related is that the console we have had set up as the master kept dropping control. We changed the master/backup configuration this evening and so far the system has been more stable. Sean Callahan

    Hi all. We have a patch in the works for 2.2 (will be 2.2.1) that we believe addresses this issue. We expect to start beta on that patch today or tomorrow. It would be great if some of you who are not in the beta program would be willing to help us vet that change before we release it.
