Position MSpeed and Color Columns

This is basically two questions, but are related.

So In the last two software versions a new column has shown up on all of my movers focus area, "Position MSpeed". First, does anyone use this instead of focus discrete timing? Second, this has always been a value that existed in the encoder wheels but never (at least by default) on my display.... just wondering why it (the Position MSpeed column) was added into focus, and why it wasn't before.... lastly, IS THERE ANY WAY TO GET RID OF IT? I used to be able to shift+click on some columns to get rid of them, but that feature seems to be gone. Anyone have any ideas?

My other question is about the color column. In some of my live displays the color column just has one column, but when i open a new live display i get everything broken down. Is there a way to switch between the two.... is there a way to select which columns you see and which ones you don't?

I really wish there was a way to always see the 11 columns I use in every cue (Pan, Tilt, R, G, B, W, Zoom, Edge, Gobo 1, Gobo 2, Gobo 2 Rotation) and hide the many others that i use once or never in a show. Maybe there is a way? Anybody know?

(Sorry for any typos.... it's late!)

  • Hi Carl, You can absolutely select what you want to see on the channel display. This applies to both of your questions... Press and hold [Data], you'll see the Parameter tiles are highlighted in the CIA. By tapping the tile you either add or remove it depending on it's current state. At the moment you can't do this on Element, but it's coming. Cheers Dan
