ion touchscreen

I am trying to get my Dell S2240T touchscreen to work with my ION 2000. It has a dual DVI and a VGA output... will it work? Can I add a driver to make it so? any help much appreciated

first question is are you on the XP version of the ion 2k or the windows 7 version...

Check the back of your console. Do you have a VGA or a displayport connector next to your two DVI connectors?

so on your console is running XP, which means the only type of touch screens you can use need to be single touch and use the touch technology "5-wire resistive touch".

Not yet, but your console may be able to use multi touch monitors in the future. ETC is coming out with a hardware upgrade in the near future that will upgrade some hardware and the OS to Win 7. Not all Ions will eligible depending on how old the original hardware is, but they will release which serial numbers are eligible. They will charge for the upgrade.
