  • Looking at the new monitor outputs on the back of the Ion., are the DVI-I, DVI-D, and DisplayPort three separate outputs for 3-monitor support? https://www.etcconnect.com/uploadedImages/Main_Site/Content/Support/Consoles/Eos_Family/Motherboard.png
  • No both Ion and Element only support two monitors still.
  • Hi Josh, Ok thanks for the response. The reason I ask is that the new monitor setup (on Win 7 Ions) now shows an option for a 3rd monitor (even though it's greyed out). It used to show only 2. From what I've seen, Displayport supports multi-monitors daisy-chained together (up to six according to Intel). So I wondered if the displayport support for the 3rd monitor was part of the Win7 upgrade. I wouldn't mind trying this out, but few people have displayport monitors to hook in a daisychain. Since the 3rd screen option is there now, can we look forward to unlock it for all the power users?? ;-) ;-) I'd use it for sure, especially with the additions of pixelmaps, magic sheets, etc. to the software. Thanks Again, Jason Lord
