Input via DMX/CV/Artnet

Interesting. At the moment I guess your only chance is with a I/O gateway. In a future release there will be OSC that should be what you're looking for

i thougt about using an I/O Gateway, the only problem is to get DMX-Values out of the Cell :D . there is no way to get CV in my Gio? i think i´m looking forward to OSC. hopefully the easier way.

Not yet, dennis. It depends on the inputs i can use. I think the cell specs are primarily not that important. I have to build a circuit like "sound2light", but in this case it's "light2light". I was thinking about using a raspberry or arduino, in case i find some software for it. Best thing would be a photocell connected to artnet. Not an easy way but a very flexible.

If you can get a 0-10VDC output from the sensor, you can use a 0-10 volt input to a Net3 I/O gateway. The analog input can be mapped to a submaster level.

the simpliest and cheapest way will to use an Arduino Ethernet and send the sensor data to the UDP String Interface (see Show Control) in future release (2.3) with OSC. You can use the Arduino to convert the sensors value into % and to send the data by ethernet with the udp functionality.
