Virtual Keyboard vs. Virtual Keypad

I am attempting to create macros that label cues using a Mac running Nomad version 2.2.

Previously, I would do this using the virtual keyboard (QWERTY) however with the elimination of Virtual Controls, I can't find a solution.  The 2.2 Console Shortcut Keys lists "Control K" as opening the virtual keyboard however it opens the virtual keypad (Eos Facepanel).  Turning scroll lock on or off using the "Alt L" command doesn't help - I'm still unable to type. I have tried using "Learn", but it doesn't record what I type.

Suggestions?

  • whenever you get into a labeling situation on the console/nomad, the software will show you the onscreen keyboard. but all of this has nothing to do with not being able to label. that's a bug that is on the radar. the workaround is this:

    Cue Label B MacroWait Enter
    Cue Label l MacroWait Enter
    Cue Label a MacroWait Enter
    Cue Label c MacroWait Enter
    Cue Label k MacroWait Enter
