Converting Moving Light values to EOS TI

Hello,

We just recently upgraded to the EOS TI and I have a show that has been converted over from the Obsession 600.

On the 600 all of the moving light attributes were done by channel, I would like to convert those over to just the single channel in the EOS TI. Is there a way to do this?

Since many of the attributes in EOS land don't use the 1-100 levels that the Obsession 600 did I don't know what the conversion would be. Is there a formula I can run the old levels through to get the EOS TI equivalent?

Any help would be appreciated.

  • The other option is to edit the fixture from the Ti and make the user range 0-100% for each parameter on the new single channel. You'll then need to take each 600 channel and add the correct parameter for that channel.

So for example channel 1 is the new single channel with the fixture edited so user values are 0-100%

Channel 602 intensity equals Pan, you'll need to add a part to 602 in patch for pan which also has a user values 0-100%.

Now in blind cues, select all you cues (cue 1 Thru Enter) and copy 602 intensity to 602 pan (the new parameter). You can now copy 602 Pan to channel 1 pan.

This is going to take a long time if you have lots of movers and lots of parameters and you'll still be stuck which a mover with each range as 0-100%  but this maybe better the using 600 channels.
