Out button --- strange behavior

It is always a good idea to let us know the console you are using and the software version it is running. I haven't heard of this happening, but the first thing to try would be to restart the console and see if that fixes the issue.

If the problem is still happening make sure you save your show. Next exit to the shell and save the logs to a usb stick just in case ETC requests them if your problem doesn't get fixed. After that go to the maintenance section in the shell and do a deep clear. This clears persistent memory and resets the screen layouts. You'll have to reload the show when you go back into the software. Let us know if that fixes the issue
