Mac Viper Performance 16 Bit Extended Patch Issue

Hi,

I am having a problem getting my Vipers patched.  The manual says that the fixture only needs 35 dmx addresses so that is the "gap" used by the electrician when addressing all of the fixtures in the shop.  In EOS 2.2.xxx patch fixture editor, the EOS claims 36 dmx addresses.  When I actually try to patch the fixture, it takes up 40 dmx addresses.  I need the fixture to patch itself at 35 dmx addresses, ignoring the 4 dmx addresses for "future use".

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

  • Hey there! To be honest I don´t have a clue why the Mac Viper Performance 16 Bit Extended reserves 40 adresses ´cause when looking into the fixture there are only 35 used...

What you could do though is using the Mac Viper Performance 16 Bit make a copy change Int./Edge/Zoom to 16 Bit then you will have exactly the fixture that is shown as Mac Viper Performance 16 Bit Extended and only 35 adresses.

    Good luck!
