Feature Requests & Bug

Bug

When opening a magic sheet in the OLE (Yosemite, V2.2) by clicking “+” then clicking on MS, “click down” is recognized as a click and so is the “click up”.  This forces open the second magic sheet in the MS browser for me.  It’s an easy work around (don’t release the mouse until it’s in an open space) but it confused the heck out of me for a while there.

Next/Last Move

It’s possible to see the next/previous move for a parameter with “about” open in the CIA, and it’s possible to see this information in a magic sheet.  Would it be possible to add a way to see this in the live table and channel display?  I think this would be a great thing to add.  Shift + Next/Last was the shortcut that came to mind, but that’s already taken.

Query Group

Could group be added as a parameter to query?  Something like: “Query Luminaire LED Wash Is In Group 10 Isn’t In Group 11”.  Currently that command will terminate after group is pushed the first time, posting lights that satisfy “Query Luminaire LED Wash” and then adding “+ Group” to the CMD.

Magic Sheets

Would it be possible to add a way to copy & paste without using the keyboard?  Maybe a context menu?

Snapshots

Would it be possible to add a way to recall a specific monitor from a global snapshot? I’m thinking something along the lines of “Snapshot 1/3”.  This falls in line with the “Magic Sheet 1/2” command.

When recalling a monitor specific snapshot that is in the opposite stage mode (live/blind) that the console is currently in the stage mode does not change.  I was on the phone earlier with Jen (Jen, you’re awesome by the way) and when we talked this through it made sense, but thinking about it again I feel that the monitor specific snapshot should change the stage mode.  I’m not sure why it wouldn’t.  Can someone explain this?

Apple like changing things like this, there was a problem in when Mavericks came out within MS if you used the trackpad! I've decided to wait a few months before upgrading OSX from now on as it's difficult for software in our industry to keep up with Apples changes.

I think this is on the list and will be used in combination with About+Something.

There are a long list of Query extensions to add I'm sure this will be on it.

This is on the list to be added, I think we agreed it should be softkeys. We talked about using the mouse but we don't always use a mouse.

There are changes to monitor snapshot hopefully coming in 2.3.
