Effects missing from Effect list.

You shouldn't be able to delete these effects.

If you delete effect 912, it will just restore it to the default setting, Grouping as spread, scale 25 etc etc. Can you not see them at all? If not ETC will want the logs from the console and the time it happened.

To get them back you'll need to save the current show, open a new show and save it with a new name, then go back to the show without the effects and then merge in the missing effects.

It's very odd you've been able to completely delete them. Also what software are you using? It sounds like you're on 2.0 or 2.0.1 or earlier?

Check to see if they are actually deleted - the Effects screen may be opening up with FX 912 on the top line, but there may be some above that. Use the Next/Last keys on the keyboard to see if you can go further up the list.

I am running 2.0.2. I was setting a show using some moving lights and went into the effects list and the only ones that showed up were those four. I was going to use a ballyhoo or circles or something but had to manually link cues and create my own effects since they didn't show up. I know that the other techs use the four I listed for LED chases and effects since they are "color" related effects. I figured that one of them just deleted the others from the list since they weren't used. I'm not sure when it happened. I have not upgraded to the latest software version yet. I was going to do this either today or tomorrow. I'll try the merge to see if that brings them back.

I asked the software version because there are higher numbered effect from 2.1 onwards.

You've never been able to delete these effects, deleting then just resets them.
