Fixture Request

I am in need of a fixture profile for the Vari-Lite VL4000.  My need-by date is Nov. 28th.  VL4000_Spot_Users_B_22October2014.pdf

  • there is a VL 4000 Spot 16bit in the most recent console library patch. you will need software versions 2.2 or 2.2.1 to use this. you can find it when you go to the ETC website and browse to Products - Consoles - Eos Family - choose a console - Software and then scroll down a bit.
  • Hi,

I'm on v2.2.1.9.0.12 and I am curious to know why the Color Wheel 1 and Color Wheel 2 have their control channels (Wheel Mode & Wheel Mode 2) are in the Beam category rather than Color. So if I'm running a mad color wheel spin and I want to snap to Open White, I can't use my NC color palette without also triggering a 'Wheel Stop' beam palette.

Related to that question, I am also curious to know why I can not edit or modify Wheel Mode 1 and Wheel Mode 2 in the fixture editor. The appear grey'd out on my console. If I were really gung ho to fix this profile, I would seemingly have to start from scratch.

(This is my first time with the VL 4Ks on an EOS.)

    Thanks!
