DMX decoder controlling RGB strips profile help?

do you know in which order the colors are controlled? is the first address controlling Red, the second Green and the third Blue? and do you know, if those colors are controlled by one DMX-address each (that would mean 8bit control) or two addresses (16bit control). if yes, you can use a standard profile. in Patch, choose a channel number, click Type, then Manufacturer and choose Generic. there you would use LED RGB and then with 8B or 16B.

They are patched RGB one to one. I am new to the lighting scene and trying to find my way. Thank you for your help. I will try these and see what happens.

I use these exact controllers with my ion. Not sure what your particular situation is but i use them as part of my stock inventory. I made 2 quick custom profiles (note the order) RGB and GRB. I've found on some of the units, Green and Blue are reversed, so instead of going crazy rewiring, I just use the different custom profile. The best part about doing your own custom profile is that it doesn't really matter what order your profile has reg green and blue, as long as your color order via dmx matches your profile, you can color mix perfectly.
