Hi
Couple of little feature requests I've accumulated over a period of time! Nothing particularly urgent, just some nice-to-haves!
1) It would be really useful if, when I select multiple fixtures for programming, Eos could highlight a parameter in the Encoder Display in a different colour or with an asterisk or something, if all of the fixtures I've selected do not have the same parameter value. For instance, if I grab a bunch of fixtures at once to zoom them out, it'd be great to be able to tell whether they are all currently at the same zoom level or not without having to press and hold data and look through the channel sheet to see the precise values.
2) I know this has been discussed before, but for my two cents, it'd be wonderful to be able to make the Encoder Display on the Gio a branch of the CIA that you can lock in place and/or favourite so when I press Displays, I always get back to that first of all. The encoders not lining up is one of my biggest bug-bears about Gio, and this would make it a whole lot nicer!
3) The ability to label tabs. With the new 2.2 workspaces layout, and the ability to have multiple Direct Select tabs open for example (which I love), it'd be really useful to be able to drop a label onto those tabs, so when I've got my presets, CPs, IPs, FPs all open, I don't have to think about which tab is which!
4) The ability to label the Text1, Text2 etc columns within the Database view in patch. I like to use them for the same bits of information for each fixture, so it'd be nice and tidy to be able to label them, more for other people taking on my show file, etc than anything else, and for general tidiness.
Cheers!
Paul
