Nomad Gadget with Macbook?

I have a 256 dongle wich is working fine as a client for our Gio console. Thinking about using it as backup togehter with Nomad Gadget. But it says on Nomad support pages that it only supports Windows 7/8  ( https://www.etcconnect.com/webdocs/controls/nomadsetupguide/Nomad_Setup_Guide.htm#GadgetSetupGuide.htm%3FTocPath%3D_____2 )

Will it also work with OS X ?

  • It works fine with OS X! I've run it on 10.8.x, as a backup to a primary Nomad on Windows 7. I also regularly run it as primary on OS X. Don't forget that your output count will be reduced to 256 when you use it as a backup - the total system output count always goes to the lowest output device in the system - this is standard throughout the range, not just a Nomad thing.
