Possible Merge advanced patch Bug-Hard to recreate

2.2.1 Eos

When i use Merge Advance Patch often it will merge before hitting enter. Is hard to recreate and doesn't seem to happen all the time.  I have tried a deep clear and still funny stuff happens.  It seems to happen when i use the [1] key or [>] but i think sometimes 9  and others as well.  when it fouls it does not let me place a target and it will just merge into channels selected, i think

example [3001] [thru] [3020] [>] terminated and merged to 3001. This was today

example [205] [thru] [2] [0] [1] terminated and merged and I don't recall where it went because it was a month ago, i was desperately trying to prepare for an event and i figured it was an anomaly that day.  On this day i spent  a long time trying to get it to recreate and was hit and miss and gave up and used an old patch for the show.

It started happening when i loaded the latest release version on our Eos.

Sorry i don't have better insight i will keep digging to see if i can get it to happen.  It seems that i wouldn't be the only one having this issue so i baffled.

  • I know this is odd and is possible i am doing something wrong, though i am not doing anything different than before but it happened. It only started after installing the release version. 2.2.1 9.0.13 It happened again yesterday while trying to Merge patched channels in advanced merge. before giving a target it terminated and merged. I think it is putting the first channel in range to its original number. (IE: 201 goes to 201). it is quite maddening especially when in a hurry in the middle of a one off. Am i really the only one experiencing this issue. Any insight as to what i am doing wrong? I thought perhaps that it had something to do with merging while in Live but then i got it to happen while in patch as well. There doesn't seem to be an exact cause that i can hunt down. but it happens just about every-time i try to merge patch
  • so i am the only one experiencing this?

  • there wouldn't happen to be an iRFR that's being used to check channels at the same time?
