Internal Fan on Gio always running

Hi Paule, The fan SHOULD NOT be noticeable - especially when off. Could you please contact your dealer, or us directly in Germany, (+49) 8024 4700-0 with the Serial Number of the Console. I will have to wait on a colleague to reply on the tabbing issue, as I don't have a Gio in front of me now. thanks,

Hey Corey, I have to ask once more: Is it regular that the fan I´m talking about never stops running? Not talking about the volume ´cause if noticeable or not depends on one´s ears I´d say. Thx

Hi Paule,

Sorry for not immediately getting back here to you.

Your Berlin Dealer contacted us this week about this problem, and we decided that the console will

have to come in for repair. After the New Year, we will arrange to have a loaner Gio sent to Berlin, and

then get your Gio in our office for repairs. We feel that this will not be a Problem for any of your shows

until next year. Your dealer has more Information about this.  

As for the two onboard displays on the Gio, it is currently set that the right display is set as the first display, and then the

left Display is set to be the second Display, and the mouse cursor must go from left to right to be used. This is how it has been

in all the Eos Family Consoles with two onboard displays. We will discuss intern the possibility of having this be custom

defined.

Hey Corey, about the fan I just wanted to know if maybe we misunderstood each other. I missed to read your first answer properly and thought you said that the fan shouldn´t be running. Now I noticed that you just said that it shouldn´t be noticeable. I just wouldn´t want it to come to service if it´s not necessary. About the tabs: I´m aware that the right onboard touchscreen is A and the left is B and I can´t change that in shell. I´m fine with that and prefer to have the CIA on the right screen. But still I think it won´t make sense that moving a tab from the right to the left screen I have to press "tab + arrow right"?! That also means when I want to move a tab from the right onboard screen to an external screen located to the right of the desk (and configured correctly in the shell) it´s "tab + arrow left". It´s just always the opposite direction I want to move the tab to. Hope I´m more clear this time. Anyway, I´m not in a hurry about that and also with backing up our files we are fine so for now I wish you great last week in 2014 were you hopefully spend mor time with good meals and friends than worrying about those issues ;-)
