Older Ion Parameter Counts

Ion with the newer motherboard (which features dual DVI connections, a Display Port connection, dual NICs, and Windows 7 Embedded)  can run up to 6144 parameters when fully upgraded.

Ion with either of the two older motherboards and Windows XP Embedded (dual DVI and a single NIC or a DVI splitter and a single NIC) have a maximum of 3072 outputs when fully upgraded. 

I have S/N 433400996. Is that a win 7 machine? (I was informed this was a new Ion at the start of the show)

You can tell if it has a partly white backplate, two NICs and a display port connector next to the two DVIs

I just looked up the serial number - our records indicate it is a Win7 machine. As Ueli said, the connectors on the back are a very reliable indicator.
