channel with multiple adresses?

The next question...

We have the scrollerspeed of every unit on channel 3000. That one is placed on every DMX-universe onto adress 5, so that it´s no matter where a scroller is placed, its always the same adress for the speed and we dont have to handle more than one channel.

Is it possible on the Eos to do the same thing and place one channel onto different adresses?

If not, maybe I could tie other channelnumbers up to the 3000, that they all do the same, while I´m just handling one?

maybe anyone has an idea.

  • I'm not completely certain what you mean, but I'll try to answer the question.

One 'Desk Channel Part' in Eos can only be patched to one DMX Address (and one fixture type).
However, there are no limits to the number of Parts that can be in one Desk Channel.

So the way to patch multiple DMX Addresses to the same Desk Channel is to create multiple parts to the chosen Desk Channel, and patch each Part to your chosen DMX Address.

If those parts are all of type "Dimmer" (default), then all the parts will fade up/down with the Intensity attribute.

I think this is what you're after.
