If you have an XP ion (1 Ethernet connector, VGA connector) it goes up to 3072, with a newer ion (win7, has 2 Ethernet ports and a display port connector) you can go as high as 6144 i think. But of course you will need sACN, artnet or Net3 nodes/gateways.

Just shopping around....1024 will be adequate for now, but wanted to know if the need be I would able to step up. Is the licence for more addresses, a purchase and download?
