Mac Unable to find EOS TI (Master)

I have been trying to connect to my EOS TI desk off and on over the past month.  I have a nomad dongle,  running g EOS Family (EOS nomad) software version 2.2.  I am on the same network is the EOS Ti wirelessly.  However the software never finds the board.  I have tried taking the file from the board and opening it on the computer, but they still will not connect.  I have exited out and have looked at the network settings which is in the same plan as the board.

Please advise.

  • three things to note:

    • the update to 2.2.1 has been released to improve situations where a console could not connect to the master.
    • to connect you need the same software version and the same language setting on all consoles and computers you want to connect.
    • eos networking is not designed to work wirelessly. it can work but there's no guarantee. please avoid at all in show critical situations.

  • Hi Bakker,

we do not recommend wireless Connections of Nomad to Eos Consoles. There is a lot of data that Needs to be transfered between Client/Backup and Master

console, and this can't be guaranteed on a Wireless Connection.

Can you connect your Laptop via an unmanaged Switch to the Eos Ti?

What are the Network Settings of your Nomad Laptop and then of your Eos Ti:

    IP:

    Subnet:

    Gateway IP:

Are both Nomad and Eos Ti running Eos v2.2.1 ?

Are both Nomad and Eos Ti in the same language?
