I currently have a nomad 256 dongle which I am looking into upgrading the channel count on.
I have had different answers to the correct upgrade path from different places.
My supplier claims I can upgrade from 256 to 768 channels with the +512 channel upgrade, but a technical adviser at ETC said you can only upgrade to one of the advertised channel counts (512/1024/1538/2048) meaning that to upgrade from 256 means going via 512 with the +256 then adding on in 512 channel jumps.
I certainly don't want to pay for an upgrade to then find I can't use it, and I am more inclined to believe ETC themselves. Is there any official documentation on the upgrade path, or if not is it something that should maybe exist as there does seem to be some confusion?
