Force RVI into mirror mode from another device?

Is there a way to force an RVI into mirror mode from another device?

Thanks!

  • you should be able to mirror another device, provided this other device is master in the network. at least according to the ETC Setup Guide of the Net3 Remote Video Interface: "You may configure the RVI to run either the Eos or Cobalt software in “Client” or “Offline” mode. When configured with Eos software, the RVI can also run in mirror mode"
  • Let me rephrase my question:

From my Eos is there a way that I can tell an RVI to enter mirror mode?

Sometimes I have designers who want to be in mirror mode, but during breaks the assistant will take the RVI out of mirror mode. Alt-x, Enter is sometimes too complicated or the keyboard isn't accessible depending on the situation.

I'm trying to avoid using the facepanel buttons.

Does what I'm trying to do make sense?
