shutdown element v2.1.2

what is the tidiest method of shutting down?  Now we have led fittings we always need to blackout before shutting down.  I created a macro which says 1through250 out wait 1 shutdown using [learn]  and incorporated it into a cue by using {execute}. This works fine but twice out of 3 times using [learn] it recorded the shutdown but not my yes response, the other time it recorded shutdown followed by command_confirm. .  Is there any way with the macro editor of inserting shutdown and command_confirm?  I want to write a help note for our operators and don't fancy having to say "it might record your response or it might not", as this doesn't carry conviction!

  • I have always used a shutdown macro: GOTO CUE OUT Macrowait 3 (then the shutdown sequence from the Browser menu). I have always had luck with Learning this macro without fail. The Macrowait is 3 as my GOTO CUE is defaulted at 1 second. You want at least 2-3 seconds for that to complete before you proceed. So if your GOTO CUE is defaulted at Time 5, then make the wait 7-8 seconds to make sure the lights and dimmers are fully out.
