Magic Sheet / scroller / link to channel intensity

Howdy, all.

Magic sheet.  Brought (PAR) fixture object into workspace.  Set target to one of my scroller channels.  Check checkbox for scroller.  Then link fill color to Channel Intensity for the object itself. (Idea being that scroller will display color, but fill on the fixture itself, will represent intensity level).

No dice.  Scroller displays as expected, but  object itself would not display chan intens fill...it just stayed empty  as if it were not linked to fill color.  (I think I even tried outline color link to Chan Intens.).

Tried deleting object, closing editor, and re-doing same steps, with same results.  I did not try a third time. (You know what they say when you try the same thing over again and expect different results...) Did not have time to try new/different show file.

So... Intended behavior? Creature? Fleshware error?

Thanks,
Abby

  • tried it in 2.2.1 and it works. tried it with a channel that was some generic led and with a generic Scroller Dimmer. the only way where i could see something close to what you're describing is when the symbol gets manually assigned a black fill color before linking it to intens. with intens at full and fill color linked to intens you will get the manually set color. if that is black, you won't see anything
