qlab firing issue

Sorry, correction to that. All of our cues under 100 are not firing.

Are there cues over a hundred? are you using one cue list?

Some things to check. The MSC ID match on both the Ion and QLab (TX from Ion, RX in QLab)

Cue List is set to list firing cues.

Do you have Midi Monitor on the MAC to verify it is receiving MIDI commands? http://www.snoize.com/MIDIMonitor/

There are others but back to rehearsal.

Yes there are cues over 100. Yes we are using one cue list. MSC IDs match. We are receiving Midi because our cues over 100 are firing and we have a MIDI monitor.

Cue numbers need to match exactly, so make sure that we are not looking for 5.1 or anything of the sort for the lower numbered cues.

In addition, you can check the diagnostics display to see if we are seeing MIDI strings at all.  This can be opened using [Tab]+[99].

Problem solved...turned out to be a bad midi/usb cable. Thanks for all your help!
