Combination fog and led

Which of the consoles are you running?

I see fog in the Form category for encoders on my Ion v2.2.1.  I can also select the parameter from the tiles next to the CIA on the Ion.

Will be using an ION however doing the prelim work on Nomad PC with nothing connected. I want to have the fog available on a fader/bump and don't know how to get it there without interrupting color and intensity of the led's.

This ought to be possible by patching the channel, setting all attributes to full then recording subs for each attribute you need to control manually.

• Channel x Blue Record Sub 2 Enter
• Channel x Green Record Sub 3 Enter
• Channel x Amber Record Sub 4 Enter
• Channel x Fog Record Sub 5 Enter

I'm admitting I am completely at a loss on this one, sorry. I think I know how to access color, focus, beam and intensity attributes and think I can understand how to record only color or only focus, etc. But I can't figure out what "fog" fits under and how to only record "fog". Something has definitely gone bad in my brain.

you only have to figure out how to set the fog parameter to full and how to get the word "Fog" to the command line when recording. setting it to full is either done with ML control, encoder or the command line. when recording, you can get to the word fog with with the parameter tiles on the left hand side of the CIA or by clicking the parameter name in the ML controls

If you open the CIA, one of the Form tiles should say "Fog". If not it may be a version mismatch between what you're running and what I'm running.
