Merge cue behavior v 2.2.1.9

Hello,

I have now been asked a few times now to merge a cue from a previous version of the show file and I'm always surprised by the results.  I found help on the forum about the Eos family not bringing in tracking data in version 1.9.x but I couldn't seem to find information on the behavior in versions after 2.0.

Could someone confirm for me how the cue data is brought in to the new show file? Also, is there a way to bring the cues in to the current show as if they were blocked in the old show without having to open the old show file, block the cue then re-open current show file and perform the merge?

Anyones assistance is greatly appreciated.

Cheers

  • they're still being brought in as if the console was in tracking mode, independent of the actual mode.
the workaround is: merge it in and set target to a high number (higher than the last cue you have now). after the merge is complete us MoveTo to move the cue to where it should actually be. MoveTo will respect the cueOnly or tracking mode and can be modified on a case by case basis with the Qonly/Track hard key
  • I see. It would be nice to have an import option to bring in the live channels that don't have a move. For now I will continue to do the import in different cue range and move.

    Thank you for your response.
