Z + the Backspace key(Windows) or Z + the Delete key (Mac). That corresponds to Shift+Clear on a console which will clear the command line. You can also use the shortcut for Undo which is the C key. Pressing undo with an unterminated command line clears it.
Thank you for that. I never looked up Shift on my cheat sheet because I just assumed Shift is Shift. So I was using Shift + backspace and nothing happened, which surprised me because the actual Shift key + a bunch of things work, except Shift backspace.
