Here's a first. Using a WD1200U017-001 drive to back up all events. I'm in the habit of saving both to the ION and the drive each time. Today I saved to both a few times after making changes to the show and wanted to open the show on my laptop (Nomad) So I unplugged the WD drive, plugged it into my laptop, opened Nomad and under File Open the show is there however the dates are correct and the times are way, way off as well as there are only about 6 of the saved shows on it, all from yesterday only.
So I put it back into the ION and yep, the same thing on the ION; only a few of the saved shows I did today. So I saved it again and watched it save to the correct date and time in the list of files on the WD drive. I then removed the drive and back to the laptop and again only a few shows show on the file.
So I put it back to the ION and yep, again only a few saved shows and the one I just confirmed saving was not there. So I saved it again and dropped down the Open list and the currently saved show was there.
Removed it from the ION and back to the laptop and still only a few saved shows there.
I then looked into the drive through my computer and the saved shows, that I did today are really not there.
I thought I might bring this up on the forums even though I know it might be the drive which is far from close to full.
I used a flash drive and saved it and it was there when transferring to my laptop. Hummmm.
