I can only find one other question like this and it doesn't have a current answer so here goes:
We run a Gio and have the latest updates installed, we have always had a problem (since 2013) where, if the screens are dimmed due to inactivity and you start typing, the command line often misses out the second keystroke or includes it but it's invisible. I know it's 'invisible' because when you press clear you have to press it a second time to clear the item that isn't there, however when it happens you do have to clear the command line because it jams it up, it doesn't count the 'invisible' character as viable code that just happens to be invisible, it completely blocks it up. Fortunately playback remains okay of course, even when screens are dimmed.
