I have a windows xp compatible element. Can you plug in a touch screen??

Hi guys. New to this so hopefully someone can answer as ETC are a bit vague to say the least. I bought a windows 7 compatible touchscreen only later to be told my element was running windows XP. Can you run a touchscreen with this console? Thanks

Yes, but the choices for compatible touch screens are much more limited.

It needs to be an ELO (or compatible) 5-wire resistive touchscreen. Any touchscreen that requires the installation of custom drivers and calibration tools is not going to work.

Thanks again. I will look into presumably whatever doesn't need seperate drivers in that case..
