v 2.2.1 - Special characters are blocked from use in the Fixture Editor

While modifiying an ETC supplied profile in the fixture editor, I noticed that when I deleted the percent ( % ) symbol in the Range label for any parameter, it could not be restored. I found that other symbols were also blocked. I verified this on multiple consoles. I did not see this problem in the release notes file or this forum.

This is a long standing issue which has been SCR'd. For what it's worth it's the same set of characters you can't use in a windows filename. I'm not sure what the schedule is for fixing this but it is known about.
